Aniline leather is great for furniture. It feels and looks beautiful due to it’s natural and untreated nature… Yet what makes it wonderful also leads to it’s one downside, aniline leather will fade and look distressed very quickly if it is not maintained and looked after, especially if it is positioned in a sunny spot!
The items in the photos below are all by designer Ralph Lauren, and are made of top quality aniline leathers, yet after just a few years they have become faded and worn… We’ve restored the colour and added a protective layer which will mean that this furniture not only looks great now, but will continue to do so for many years to come.
